About Michael
I’m Michael, a passionate primary school teacher based in Melbourne with over three years of hands-on experience in local classrooms. I love working one-on-one with children because it allows me to truly understand their unique strengths and challenges and tailor lessons to help them shine.
I became a tutor because I believe every child deserves to feel confident and excited about learning — especially when it comes to literacy, reading, and English. Watching a reluctant reader light up when they finally “get it” or gain the skills to enjoy books independently is incredibly rewarding. That’s why I’m here: to build strong foundations, boost self-belief, and foster a genuine love of learning in a supportive, fun environment.

I’m a dedicated primary school teacher with over three years of hands-on classroom experience in Melbourne. My lessons are fun, personalised, and designed to build strong literacy, reading, and English skills while boosting your child’s confidence and love of learning.
I focus on making reading enjoyable rather than a chore. Whether your child needs help with phonics, comprehension, fluency, writing, or simply gaining confidence with books, I tailor every session to their individual needs and learning style. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and full of encouragement so children feel supported and motivated to succeed.
I offer one-on-one support for primary school students (Prep to Year 6) both in-person in Melbourne or online. My goal is simple: help every child become a confident, capable reader who enjoys English and feels proud of their progress.
