About Jess
I am a student, writer, and an online english teacher. I have taught on multiple reputable online learning platforms such as Preply, Preplesson, and Palfish. Online ESL teaching is something I have been doing for a year, and in the three years before that, I was privately tutoring students in creative writing.
In ESL, my students excelled: I had a medical student who was able to complete her practical exams, and then regularly reached out to me for extra english tutoring while she was in the workplace in order to feel more confident in her english speaking.
One of my younger students was very excited when she got accepted into her school with a scholarship in China due to her improved english oral skills.

Typically, I am teaching younger students in a fun, interactive, and exciting way. I aim to use TPR in my lessons, and to incorporate memory and repetition games. Reward systems are used to help motivate and interest students, however, I encourage my students to also put in effort so they can see their own progress.
