About Robert S
As an advocate for Inclusive education and sustainable development, my main goal is to ensure educational inclusion of all learners and sustainably shape the world around us through educational development. I'm a professional and fun teacher with a M.A Special Needs and Inclusive Education (Roehampton University-London) BSc. Special Education Needs, Dip in Spanish Language and a certificate in Computer studies. I have ten years extensive teaching and research experience within London education sector. I possess expertise within the areas of Special Education Needs (primary, Secondary to A-Level), Primary (Special & mainstream), Secondary (GCSE), High school (A-Levels), college and Adult education. Within my lessons, which can be individual or grouped, I use a learner centred approach which mainly focuses on the learning needs of an individual learner as well as a diversified group of learners, I use inclusive education teaching methods which take into account all the learning needs of all learners, I employ differentiated attention, curriculum adaptation (accommodation and modification) to meet individual needs of children with special needs, I use multi-model teaching approach to meet the learning needs of all learners with different learning styles. I have extensive experience in providing individual (one to one) and group lessons within subject areas of maths, Science, English (Reading, writing, spelling, Grammar etc.) Spanish as a first or second Language (writing, speaking, grammar, composition and translation) Humanities (Geography, history etc.) Special education needs tutoring/teaching support for learners with Autism, Emotional & Behaviour disorders, Learning disabilities, hearing and visual impairments, speech impairments, specific learning disabilities, Dyslexia & Dyscalculia, physical impairment and Profound and multiple learning disabilities. I have taught and still teaching different grades from primary, special education needs, secondary, High school to college. I'm extensively experienced and very successful in tutoring primary, GCSE, A-Levels and college Spanish learners. Most of my students attain B or A within their Spanish final exams. Robert has an excellent Spanish subject knowledge, he can identify the leaner's needs and then use learner's centered approach to improve them. My son Jane and her friend Nicky found his help and guidance invaluable and it was enough to get them through their resit last November and pass with B.
