Fun Spanish online lessons with a very experienced teacher - personalised to you from my home in Madrid :)

I’ve been working with Elena for over two years now, and there’s a reason for that - she’s a brilliant teacher. Having previously finished a C2 group course, but still noticing that I needed further help on an individual basis, I got in touch with Elena.

Her clases are extremely valuable to me because she combines a mix of current real-world topics with targeted grammar exercises that help to tackle what I’m having trouble with. She also pays close attention to what I need to work on and my personal interests, making sure to work both into the lessons when possible. What’s more, there’s always an opportunity to chat, which has immensely improved my knowledge and use of more advanced colloquial language and casual speech in general.

Aside from being a great teacher, Elena is a really lovely person to work with. She’s extremely friendly, easy to understand, and, most importantly, patient! I couldn’t recommend her more.

I've been learning Spanish online with Elena for a couple of years now and have found her to be a first class tutor - making each class a mixture of easy going conversation and then some technical grammar which she has prepared. And all with good humour and wit. She's totally professional and patient - always moving me forwards, but without being pushy. Recommended.

Elena is a very experienced teacher. She knows her stuff from the syntax to the subjunctive and can explain them in English and in Spanish. She uses varied materials including exercises, games, videos, songs, current events and culture. I love the energy of her classes. I highly recommend her.

I've been working with Elena for the past couple of months, and I can honestly say that she's been brilliant.

Her approach to lessons is structured, meaning I feel like I'm constantly learning new things while revisiting topics that we've previously covered (grammar etc), but we also have enough time and space for unstructured discussion, questions etc, which I find helpful.

My Spanish has come on leaps and bounds, and I would recommend her to anyone! Above this, she's also a really lovely person.

Elena was my tutor for a 6 week intensive Spanish course. I found that her teaching style was engaging and helped to keep myself and colleagues (a small group) focused throughout. She answered all my questions with relevant examples and helped me progress quickly, tailoring parts of the course to both my specific needs and those of others in the group. All in all, a fantastic tutor!

That was a great and professional experience to have Elena as a Spanish language teacher. She was always very patient, happy to explain any concerns I had, always happy to answer all of my questions. Also she was answering my mails when I had some problems with my homework so we had contact not only during lessons.
