About Mary
I have taught PreK-Adult ESL. I have Arizona and Nevada Teaching K-8 licenses. I also have an ESL Teaching License, Gifted Education Teaching Certificate, and I am halfway through my Special Education Licensing program. Reading Specialist, Reading Interventionist, and Resource Teacher are also part of my repetoire! I love to teach thematic units, to make learning more fun and relevant! I have directed and co-directed school plays.

I love teaching Thematic Units! That would include teaching many subjects while focusing on a Social Studies theme, edible Science Lessons, using music and art! I believe in using an eclectic approach that is tailor-made for the student. (differentiation/scaffolding) Some students learn better with visuals, (computer graphics, videos, charts) some with audibles, (music, chants, read-aloud online stories), and some learning better from building, and designing projects.
