About Shayne
I am calm, patient and I have good interpersonal skills. I am thus able to deconstruct and analyse topics to ensure full understanding for my students. Despite picking up Further Mathematics in Year 11, I made substantial effort to cover the syllabus over a short time, and achieve a grade 9 in GCSE (and top of my year group). Therefore I am willing to tutor anybody regardless of their current maths ability and assist their efforts to attain and even exceed their target grades in Maths like I did.

Target Students: Year 9-11 Mathematics students (and Further Maths). 1 hour - 1 hour 30min lessons: • in the evenings (during term times) • throughout the day (during school holidays and weekends) My teaching techniques vary, and can be adapted to suit the needs and nature of the student I am tutoring. Being a student and having recently sat for the GCSEs myself, I can relate and share useful exam techniques to help them achieve their target grades. Previous tutoring experiences include: • Aiding my peers in preparation for the Mathematics GCSEs • Helped Year 11 students improve their grades and confidence in their maths ability.
