About Anaya
Hi! My name is Anaya. I have just graduated from UCL with a Bachelors in Law and am due to start my career as a trainee corporate solicitor after completing my LPC qualifications. I am British but grew up abroad, attending an international school that fostered my love for World History. My favourite periods from history are: WW2, The Indian struggle for Independence, Mao's China and Stalin's USSR. I am an articulate, driven and ambitious young future lawyer who has a confident grasp of transferrable skills needed for a high mark in history; identifying and linking themes, making robust and niche arguments, evaluating a source's values and limitations. However, I am also very passionate about the subject and its ability to shape minds and opinions, and therefore would love to share this passion with students!

My name is Anaya, and I have experience teaching students from the Middle Years Programme in the IBDP, however have also had experience in the IGCSE system! My lessons are for any student currently doing their History GCSE or A Level. I am a big fan of active learning involving visualisation of links i.e using flowcharts to understand cause and effect, timelines to narrow down overarching themes, and tables in order to break down different elements of historical events that require different forms of analysis. I have had a successful track records with my students, who enjoy my personalized touch to teaching as I create unique note/question banks. My typical lesson is one hour.
