About Yasmine

I am a first year medical student who has finished studying biology, chemistry and physics at A level. I received 10 A* and 1 A (further maths) in my GCSEs and A*A*A in my A levels. I can teach from primary students to GCSE and A level students. I can also teach for the 11+ (I sat it and got into my grammar school of which I was out of catchment). I have been tutoring biology for the past 2 years and have been so pleased to see my students achieve their desired grades!

About the lesson

I can supply revision notes, help with exam technique through past papers and teaching of course content from the beginning. I also teach chemistry and physics. I have wide knowledge of resources outside of lessons which I can suggest. I think that it’s often better to get help from a student who has just recently sat the qualification as they often have better knowledge of how to do as best as possible!

We are classmates and she is very good at all sciences and she is a very friendly and approachable tutor. She often helps me with difficult questions where her feedback and guidance always prove valuable.

Yasmine has really helped me in all 3 sciences. She explains concepts clearly and if I don’t understand something, she always provides an alternative explanation. I’m in year 11 so Yasmine has really helped build my confidence leading up to my GCSEs. I would highly recommend her to any GCSE student

Yasmine is an excellent tutor. She has the ability to break down complex subjects through a variety of methods (e.g for visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners). She is kind, patient and friendly and will make learning a lot easier. I’m in year 10 and she has really helped me in biology so far. I understand everything a lot better and my exam technique is really coming on. Highly recommend!!!
