About Arabe
Hi, I’m a friendly and supportive tutor specialising in 11+ and GCSE preparation. I attended a grammar school, achieved grades 8–9 at GCSE and A/A*/A* at A-Level, and I am currently studying Mathematics with Finance and Economics at City St George’s, University of London. Having recently completed these exams myself, I understand the revision techniques, exam strategies, and study habits needed to succeed. I aim to make lessons engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I offer support in 11+ Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, as well as GCSE Maths, English, Science, homework support, and revision preparation. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building both confidence and academic ability. I help students improve their understanding, strengthen exam technique, and develop effective study skills in a positive and supportive environment. As having two younger siblings, I have a lot of experience teaching myself.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. Lessons typically focus on strengthening subject knowledge, improving exam technique, and developing effective revision and study habits. I use a combination of explanations, worked examples, practice questions, and past papers to help students make steady progress and feel fully prepared for exams. For 11+ students, lessons focus on Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning, including timed practice and exam strategies. For GCSE students, lessons can include topic revision, homework support, exam preparation, and guidance on answering questions effectively to maximise marks. I also provide regular feedback and can set optional homework or revision tasks to reinforce learning between sessions.
