About Anish
My name is Anish, and I tutor GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, and Spanish, as well as A-level Maths. I am currently studying Mathematics and Economics at the University of Bath, having achieved the highest grades (Grade 9 - A*) myself across all the subjects I teach. I have experience supporting students with a range of goals and abilities, and I’m proud to say many of my students have gone on to achieve strong results and improved confidence. I keep my lessons structured, clear and supportive, focusing on both deep understanding and effective exam technique. My aim is always to help students feel calm, capable and well prepared.

I take a calm, supportive approach to tutoring that focuses on building confidence through clear explanations and consistent practice. I adapt each lesson to suit the student’s needs, using worked examples, past paper questions, and regular recap to strengthen understanding and exam technique. I use a variety of diagrams and varied problem-solving methods that align well with exam boards and mark schemes. Lessons are typically an hour long, though I am happy to adjust this depending on what works best for the student. I tutor students preparing for GCSEs and A levels, usually aged between 13 and 18, across subjects including GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, and Spanish. I achieved Grade 9s in all of these subjects. I additionally tutor A-Level Maths following a high A* last year. I am now studying Economics and Mathematics at the University of Bath. With several years of experience helping students reach their academic goals, I aim to create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, thinking independently, and steadily improving.
