About Emily
I am a Genetics students about to embark on a research project regarding the use of coronavirus particles in gene therapy in my fourth year of university. Following completion of my degree I am excited to begin a teaching degree to become a GCSE Science teacher with a specialism in Biology and Chemistry. Outside of academia I am interested in exploring new places, the cinema and animals!

Teaching online I'd like to provide a laidback approach to academia. Students can select topics they're wanting more help with and I will give a short presentation on the area, with the opportunity for students to ask questions throughout. We will then move on to quiz and exam questions where we will discuss together to find the answers, alongside looking at real-world applications of the skills/topics we're currently looking at. I hope that this will both enhance the students ability in the given topic area alongside aiding their interest in the subject.
