About Sophia
I am a current university student studying for a BA in Geography and International Relations at the University of St Andrews. I am very able to adapt to all types of teaching, whether it be more explanation, revision or learning new content. I use a range of reading, activities and quizzes to ensure that the information is fully understood before moving onto the next topic. I have worked with other students in a mentoring role, whether it be to improve reading, explaining concepts or giving tips and tricks for revision and exam technique. I have also been working as a swim teacher, teaching kids with a wide variety of abilities to feel more confident in the water. My main aim is to make a student feel more confident and comfortable with the material they are learning, so that when they reach their exam they know it inside out and backwards!
