About Tazmin
Hello, I am Tazmin, a Geography and GIS tutor with a strong academic interest in remote sensing, environmental studies, and disaster management. My work mainly focuses on spatial analysis, satellite image interpretation, forest fire assessment, urban sprawl and environmental applications using GIS and remote sensing techniques.
I enjoy helping students understand complex concepts in a simple and practical way. I believe learning becomes more effective when theory is connected with real-world examples and hands-on applications. My lessons are designed to build both conceptual understanding and analytical skills.
I have experience working with tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, and satellite datasets including Sentinel and Landsat imagery. I am especially interested in research-based learning and supporting students with academic projects, assignments, and dissertation-related work.
I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in geography, GIS, and environmental analysis.

Hello, I am Tazmin, a Geography and GIS tutor with a strong interest in remote sensing, environmental studies, and disaster management. My lessons are designed to help students understand both theoretical concepts and practical applications using real-world examples and spatial data analysis.
I teach Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, Google Earth Engine, QGIS, ArcGIS, environmental mapping, and disaster management for school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students. I also help students with research projects, dissertations, map preparation, data interpretation, and basic scientific writing related to geography and environmental studies.
My teaching approach is interactive and step-by-step. I focus on concept clarity first and then move toward practical applications. Depending on the student’s level, lessons will include:

* Spatial data analysis and mapping
