About Jack
I've always loved researching and teaching, and geography is an especially good subject to be able to cover.
From physical geography and the ability you can develop to understand landscapes and appreciate your surroundings, to human geography and the associated history, politics and sociology needed to understand it, geography will always be an interesting and curiosity driven subject.
I've also been fortunate enough to travel to over 20 countries and live with roommates from four continents, and have come to understand more deeply the importance of knowing how the world works and what exactly is out there.

Having always loved geography since childhood, and having enjoyed learning more at higher levels, I'm excited to be able to give GCSE and A-level students the help they need all throughout the year, and especially before big exams and coursework deadlines.
A typical lesson will depend entirely on the needs and interests of the student, and can cover any subject covered in the spec of your exam board.
With an A* grade at GCSE and A grade at A-level (with an A* in the NEA (Non-Examined Assessment), I am comfortable with the subject, and stay up to date with contemporary issues and research.
Of course, I will always be available outside of lesson time too if you have any questions or comments.
