I am a member of The Tutors' Association (TTA), the NASUWT, the National Education Union (NEU), and a registered teacher with the Home School Legal Defence Association (HSLDA). I tailor my teaching to each student, focusing on their needs, and the exams they are preparing for. I focus on developing a thorough understanding of the syllabus and boosting confidence, rather than relying solely on memorisation. Connecting theory to practical application is key, so lessons are interactive and focus on learning by doing. Students retain up to 90% of what they learn when they actively participate and 'learn by doing,' compared to just 30% when they only hear or see the information.

Perfect! Super knowledgeful tutor with a strong passion for Geography and her students, Julia is a very hands-on tutor, quickly identifies weaknesses and addresses them accordingly. Prepares slides tailored to our children and gives and corrects homework. Both of our children love Geography lessons with Julia. Thank you, Julia.
