About Sam
Above all, I love to learn and I hope to instil a sense of enjoyment from learning in all of my students. In my tutorials I endeavour to combine a content-rich, professional teaching style with a relaxed atmosphere to enable each student to learn in a way which will help them to succeed in their examinations, and in appreciating their subject more widely. I am a qualified individual who has tutored GCSE and A-Level students in my highlighted fields both in-person and online and holds an extensive knowledge of the syllabuses for each qualification.

I like to teach using a mixture of hands-on activities and exercises, supplemented with plenty of past exam questions and papers. For German GCSE and A-Level, I employ a multifaceted approach, tackling writing, reading, listening, and speaking, and can easily adapt to cover the weaknesses of each individual student. I currently student German and Linguistics at the University of Oxford, and achieved a high A* (95) in my German A-Level. For Politics A-Level, I mainly focus on an exam-oriented style of teaching using contemporary examples and theory to supplement basic argument. I achieved A* in Politics A-Level. My lessons can be adapted to suit the student, and can last between 30 minutes and 2 hours.
