About Jeannette
I have a masters degree in literature and love the German language. Currently working in a school in the areas of German as a foreign language and literacy with children and adolescents between 10 and 18 years. Incidentally, I prepare my doctorate, so I still have the scientific writing on it. During my studies, I wrote endless seminar papers and I know what is important. In addition, I have edited many texts and have a very good view of the structure, the language and the content of texts. I am happy about students that I can support, but also about children and adolescents, whom I can individually accompany in school life.

In general, it is very important to me that people feel comfortable with me and are not afraid to make mistakes. In my writing and literacy lessons, I always try to include exercises for all competencies (reading, writing, speaking) in my lessons. I also try to find out which learning method suits the individual student. Some children learn a lot about their hearing, others more with pictures. For students, it is important to me to provide detailed feedback on texts and to exchange ideas with them about literary texts. I like to ask many questions that should be thought-provoking.
