About David
Hello! My name is David and I graduated with a Master's Degree in TESOL from The University of Findlay. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and video games, and I have a particular interest in Japanese culture and language. I have had the opportunity to live and study abroad in both Fukuoka, Japan and Chicago, Illinois, which has given me a diverse and global perspective on language learning and teaching. In addition to my language teaching experience, I am also a full-time B2B content writer, which allows me to bring a unique blend of creativity and professionalism to my lessons. I am dedicated, patient, and always striving to help my students succeed and reach their full potential.

In my approach to tutoring, my primary focus is on meeting the individual needs and goals of my students. To accomplish this, I utilize a range of teaching techniques and methodologies, including task-based language teaching, communicative language teaching, and the direct method. These approaches allow me to engage my students in authentic, real-life language practice and help them develop their skills in a holistic and meaningful way.
My lessons typically last one hour, although the length can be adjusted to meet the needs and schedules of my students. I offer lessons to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and I am happy to work with students of any age.
