About Anna
I scored 1580/1600 on the SAT and earned my Bachelor’s at Pomona College, majoring in Math and minoring in Sociology. The SAT is a grueling process but test-taking is a key part of academia. Acing the SAT primed me for my college years, as I understood how to prepare for tests and could focus on the better aspects of college life!

The digital SAT has Desmos to help with most calculations, so the crux now is interpreting word problems in the first place to know which equation to solve. I teach comprehension to benefit students in both Reading/Writing and Math portions.
My approach: After an assessment I will write a detailed syllabus for us to cover all my student’s weaknesses: e.g. Math fundamentals, analyzing graphical information, summarizing texts, etc.
I will also teach test tactics, and strategies on how to stay calm during the test.
I will prepare all worksheets and past papers for you.

Anna is a fantastic math tutor, she not only helped me catch up on my coursework, but also taught me how to learn math directly from my textbooks.
