About Ecaterina
I’m Ecaterina, a final-year Law student at King’s College London. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE History and an A in A-level History, alongside grades 8–9 across all 14 of my GCSEs.
History and law both require you to make sense of evidence and turn it into a clear argument. I’m especially interested in helping students who want to solidify their knowledge and find it difficult to show everything they know in an exam answer.

I offer online GCSE and A-level History lessons focused on both consolidating knowledge and improving exam technique. We can work on source questions, essay planning, answers of different lengths and timed practice.
When I studied History, I realised that knowing the content was only part of getting a high grade. I had to work out a lot of the smaller exam skills for myself: what a question was really asking, how much detail to include, how to structure an argument and what the mark scheme meant in practice. Those things can be hard to explain to a whole class in a way that clicks for everyone.
In our lessons, I’ll break those skills down and explain them in different ways until we find what makes sense to you. We can look at marked work to see where marks were lost, improve an answer you’ve already written, or plan and write practice answers together. I’ll focus on the question types and topics that matter for your course.
If you send me your exam board, historical periods, current topic or a piece of work beforehand, I can prepare around what you’re studying.
