About Alannah
I achieved an A* at Mathematics GCSE and am available to provide mathematics tuition to primary school students and secondary school students up to year 9.
I am also able to help primary school students with preparations for their 11 or 13+ exams for secondary school.

I believe the best way to learn Maths is through practice. After discussing in depth the topic and ensuring that the student understands exactly what is required and how to do each question, the best thing to do is multiple practice questions so they have a practical understanding of the topic. Using this method ensures that students are prepared for their exams and know how to identify which method and area of maths is applicable for each question.
I have a particular understanding of algebra, so if the student is struggling with this, as many do, I am able to assist them in understanding how it is done and what it means.
I can accommodate for each individual's learning style and tailor lessons to their particular way of learning.
