About Emma
At the age of nine I began to take an interest in the piano at home. After my first lesson, I became utterly obsessed. After playing in the New Ross Piano Festival I was sponsored to study music in RIAM under the tuition of Réamonn Keary. Having won various competitions like 'Arklow Feis Ceol' and played in concerts and recitals, my love for music blossomed. Today, although I study computer science, I continue playing piano everyday. It is a lifelong love.

I believe learning the piano goes much further than merely learning how to press notes in the correct order. It teaches us that discipline and patience is required to create beautiful music. As a lover of logic, I like to include music theory in my classes. A strong foundation in music theory is key to the development of one's musical aptitude.
I am available to teach both children and adults Thursdays, Fridays and the weekends. Lessons are 40 minutes.
