About Sophia
I'm currently 19 and studying at university. I have travelled all my life and been in many international schools where most of the students first language was not English. I have seen the struggle they faced when trying to learn and have helped in any way I can.
Tutoring is a perfect way for me to be able to help more people.
As a child of a teacher I was helped with many lesson plans and aided in the classroom and over time grew a passion for it.

My teaching style is adaptable to any given student so that I can cater to their needs in order to best help them learn.
I like to make sure the child is engaged in their lessons and will give them a small test prior to begging that will help me know what type of learner they are:
Visual, auditory, kinesthetic or reading/writing
The results will allow me to choose what resources would be best to use and proceed from there.
With languages repetition is often used but immersion is the key aspect which Ilike to incorporate into lessons
