About Syra
I am a professional qualified teacher and always deliver my lessons to a high standard. I currently have tutored a student who was a grade 7 and now has achieved a grade 9 in his mocks.
I am happy to do online sessions. I want to ensure that my students are confident with each topic area and bring about passion in their subject.
I have also had experience as a STEM coordinator at my school and have helped students with projects that they were able to deliver for the BIG BANG Event.

Perfect! Syrah kindly accepted my last minute request to do some cramming with my daughter R before R’s Applied Human Biology BTEC.
Syrah was the consummate professional: despite only being booked the night before, she WhatsApped me to plan R’s lessons according to her particular exam syllabus.
My daughter said she felt like she’d learned more in her time with Syrah than she had during the whole year of school so far - and this was in May!
She also said, ‘you could tell Syrah was a real teacher, only she was much nicer’. Praise indeed!
I can wholeheartedly recommend Syrah as a fantastic tutor for parents to liaise with, and a ‘much nicer’ teacher for their kids.
