About Oliver
I am a History graduate of Cardiff University 2022. I studied as a History teacher in 2023, mentoring many year 10 students through the Germany in Transition paper successfully.
I do not have much experience as a teacher since only recently finishing my PGCE placements, but I am very enthusiastic about teaching, have a likeable personality, and an excellent knowledge of both the content and exam questions featured in the Germany in Transition paper.

First session: Identifying the areas you need most help with. This could specific key questions (topics) in the course, specific areas across each topic, or simply developing exam technique.
Second session: I will create a timetable with a list of session focuses and tasks which I have personalised for yourself based on the information from session one.
Following sessions: We will focus on learning any content identified as needing development, with incremental exam questions and techniques used as revision, alongside content quizzes to assess your knowledge and progression at home.
Following sessions: Once knowledge of content is mostly realised, we will then focus on exam techniques, catering to each question in depth, looking at question examples which are focussed on different key questions, and then aiming to complete a practice paper by the end.
Aim of sessions: The aim of these sessions are to build your confidence in the WJEC Germany in Transition Paper, refining your knowledge of the different key questions and how they may appear in the exam, and further refining how you answer each question alongside the time you can do it in effectively.
You will achieve the best you can!
