About Emilia
I have recently completedmy BA English Language and Literature degree and will be continuing my studies with MSc Gender, Media and Culture in the next academic year. I am excited to teach English Literature because I believe it opens students' minds to the world that they live in. I consider tutoring this subject as important because often analytical talent is lost to restrictive mark schemes; I would like to help the posessors of such talent to fulfill their academic potential.

I will help you sculpt your natural analytical skills into the forms that examiners look for in exam scripts. With reference to mark schemes and example essays, I will demystify the standard against which you will be assessed in your exams. Sessions will last an hour and I will expect you to provide practice essays that you have completed in your own time to give me a sense of the areas in which you can improve as well as those in which you have natural talent.
