Techniques and Teaching Methodology ️
My methodology is highly interactive and student-driven, employing several core techniques:
Task-Based Learning (TBL): Instead of isolated grammar drills, we complete real-world tasks (e.g., writing an email, giving a presentation, debating a topic). This makes the learning immediately practical and engaging.
The "I-R-F" Model: Every meaningful interaction follows this structure: Initiation (I ask a question or give a prompt), Response (the student answers), and Feedback (I immediately provide correction or expansion). This rapid feedback loop accelerates learning.
Focus on Fluency First: I initially prioritize getting students to speak naturally, only correcting persistent or crucial errors later. This builds confidence, which is the biggest hurdle for new language speakers.
Contextual Grammar: Grammar is taught not in isolation, but as a tool required to complete a specific task. For example, learning the conditional tense while role-playing a job interview.
Digital Immersion: I leverage dynamic online resources, including interactive whiteboards, curated video clips, and collaborative documents, to keep the lesson environment fresh and engaging.
