About Fatima Miya Waqar
I am an aspiring Japanese tutor who is passionate to teach Japanese and tutor in English. I am currently teaching Japanese to students from Years 6 to 9.
Learning Japanese does not only about learning the alphabets, intonation, and grammatical rules. It is involves being part or/ and understanding the Japanese culture and community.
As learning Japanese had been such a meaningful experience for myself, I would like students to challenge their language- learning skills with such exciting, personally meaningful and memorable Japanese studies.
Adjustments to work contents (Japanese proficiency levels) and further assistance to meet students' needs are most welcome.

- Run classes according to school and state curriculum, adjustments to student's proficiency level or furtherly sought assistance.
- Welcome students to study the history and culture of Japan and its language.
- Teaching methods involve reading texts, writing grammatical rules and Kanji (Chinese character) memorization, listening activities and speaking session (such as morning speeches, practicing mannerisms, and expressing one's own thoughts/ experiences).
-Tutoring classes usually run from 30 mins to 1.5 hours, and classroom-setting class run for 3 hours.
- Graduate of Bachelor of Arts (Advanced- Japanese & English major) from Latrobe University.
- Currently enrolled into Master of Teaching Secondary at University of Melbourne.
