About Liu
Hi, I am Jade Liu and I'm currently a junior at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a biology degree. Dance, especially ballet, has been one of the most important aspects of my life. It has taught me everything and I continue to use knowledge from dance in my everyday life.
I started dancing when I was 3 years old, and joined Cary Ballet's professional training program when I was 12. This opportunity allowed me to train every day and participate in competitions such as YAGP and ADCIBC. I placed top 24 at YAGP. I also attended summer programs at Houston Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet.
