About Grace
As much as I LOVE math, I know it can certainly tend to drag on, or become quickly frustrating with a simple miscalculation. My goal is to always make this fun! Doing math alone, particularly when you are struggling, is terribly aggravating. Sometimes all it takes is another set of eyes to figure it out! I am not here to lecture you, or do the problems in front of you and expect you to understand. I am here to work with you, identify where you have obstacles, and fix them! Learning math is all about retraining your brain, and I am here to guide it in the right direction!

As a former teaching assistant, I am well versed in designing lesson plans. I explain things to students in a way that their teacher/instructor may not understand they need. Particularly in large classes, it is impossible to teach in a way that fits the mold of every learning style. Right off the bat, we will discuss which learning style works best for you. If you honestly aren't sure, we will figure it out ASAP and get working! A method that I prefer is language-to-process association. A struggle that many math students face is identifying which methodology they should use when faced with a word problem, or even just a complex number presentation. The key to my teaching style is that I not only help you perfect the methodology, but more importantly show you when to use it.
