About Evie
I hold a BA in English from the University of Exeter and have a strong background in both literature and language. I’ve always loved working one-on-one with students and helping them unlock their confidence—whether that’s in essay writing, close reading, or creative expression. My experience as both a student and a tutor has taught me how important it is to feel supported and understood, and I bring that same care and attention into every lesson I teach.

I take the time to understand how each student learns best—whether that’s through discussion, creative techniques, or clear step-by-step explanations—and tailor every lesson to suit them. I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely care about building confidence as well as knowledge, so students leave each session feeling clearer, more capable, and even a little bit proud of themselves.
