About Ivan
I’m Ivan, a 22-year-old pop musician and educator with seven years of music-making experience, including three years working professionally. I hold a Master’s degree in Popular Music and have taught piano, singing, Ableton, songwriting and composition to students of various ages since high school. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. In addition to my teaching practice, I maintain an active artistic career, performing at recognised venues such as the O2 Islington and The Albany, as well as at several festivals. My work has accumulated over 20,000 streams in the past year. My approach is holistic and student-centred, prioritising technical development, creativity and overall wellbeing. I aim to provide a structured, supportive learning environment that helps each student build confidence, refine their skills and achieve their musical goals with professionalism and clarity.

Ivan is such a patient, gentle, and professional teacher. He pays great attention to detail and always tries different approaches to suit my child’s learning style. We started piano lessons with Ivan about half year ago, and my child absolutely loves piano sessions with him and really enjoys playing.
Highly recommended!Ivan helped me get through songwriting and production modules at uni as well as helped me develop my own projects. He thought me a lot about music theory, new musical concepts and sparked my curiosity to keep on growing creatively.
I keep coming back to him for guidance and when I do I always learn something new.View more recommendations
