About Aaliyah
Growing up in a dance studio was a big deal for me as a kid. I knew that if I wanted to get to my dream job, I would have to sacrifice so much of my childhood to do so. There was nothing else that mattered. I spent countless years perfecting my craft. I attended an arts middle school where I studied dance as a major. Following that I auditioned and attended Las Vegas Academy of the Arts High School. When I wasn’t in class, I was in rehearsal with a dance crew I called home; Ground Zero. The teachers there sacrificed everything to help us grow and become the Dancers we are today. I’ve always wanted to imitate that environment. One where Dancers at every age, from every background, and at any skill level could walk in and learn what they loved. Fast forward 10 years and a BFA Degree later, I’m pleased to say I get to do exactly that.

My class is all about sharing a love for the art and helping students acquire the skills to improve their talents. I focus on techniques needed such as breath work, timing, control, and rhythm. My goal is to make sure students have access to the tools they need to succeed in their future! My aim with my classes is to bring a sense of community, confidence, and playfulness. We never stop learning and the more we experience the simple act of trying, the easier our life can become. All I have ever wanted was to be the type of teacher that propelled inspiration. Let’s learn from each other and grow together with a beautiful art form!

Details
I typically charge around 75/hr to give a full 1 hour class, however due to the nature of my classes online you will only pay $50! Online can be more tedious and challenging to learn from. If you wish to have a one on one experience, feel free to reach out :)
