About Lauren
Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a licensed elementary educator with classroom experience, currently teaching kindergarten. I hold a Master's degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and enjoy learning.
I specialize in early childhood and elementary education, including reading, phonics, handwriting, writing, math, homework help, and kindergarten readiness.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and hands-on. I believe that every child learns differently, so I am flexible with the approach. I take into account students' learning styles, pace, and goals to tailor the lesson to meet their needs.
A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous skills, direct instruction with guided practice, engaging activities, and independent practice. I regularly check for understanding throughout so I can adjust the lesson to ensure students are feeling successful.
As a current classroom teacher, I understand today's curriculum and know how to help students succeed both academically and emotionally. My goal is to help students not only reach academic goals, but develop confidence and independence. I look forward to helping your child reach their goals!
