About Laurens
I'm a published scholar and pop fiction author. I spent years working in the elite college applications advising world and in recent years have cultivated an independent practice with dozens of lives transformed for the better. I take a holistic approach to writing coaching by focusing on cultivating the unique voice of the writer, the preeminent importance of clarity and succinctness, and writing as a communicative act. My students learn how to use their voices effectively and with integrity, sculpting narratives of precision and engagement that leave readers wanting more and thoroughly convinced of the author's intent and/or force of personality.
