About Amber

I was a CNA for five years in a long-term care facility prior to passing my RN boards. The RN program at RIC is excellent. I was able to get a job working med-surg at a trauma hospital for 6 months prior to transferring to high-risk OB. In 2021, I passed my FNP ANCC boards and began working in community health and I continue to work with this population!

About the lesson

Personal experience with nursing school and graduate nursing exams, NCLEX, and AANC boards. I find patient cases are a good learning opportunity. I have 5 years nursing experience, 4 years experience as a FNP, and was a CNA for 5 years prior to all that. I have a wide range of knowledge across the lifespan.
