Hoda is wonderful cellist whom I have worked with for years now. I cant recommend her enough, her knowledge and musicianship are admirable and anyone would be lucky to learn with her.
I utilized Hoda’s expertise in preparation for playing the cello at my best friend’s wedding after not having practiced consistently for over 10 years. Given a short amount of time, Hoda was able to see and hear what areas for improvement were present in my playing, then provided clear and concise exercises to actively work on these aspects. Her technical skills provided me with tools for practicing more effectively, ultimately allowing me to perform with more accurate intonation, wider expressivity, and greater confidence. Her patience and kindness matched with her knowledge is a combination that any student would thrive on, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
Hoda is the such a friendly, dedicated and encouraging teacher. My child has formed such a bond with Hoda so quickly. She sets realistic goals for my child to practice each week which means you see progression very quickly. Hoda’s beautiful playing (with degrees from the Royal Northern College of Music and Royal Academy of Music London) means my child is not only being taught amazingly, but completely inspired every week. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hoda.
I have had many teachers, Hoda is definitely the best cello teacher I have had. She is very thorough and I recommend her for all!
Hoda is such a generously minded musician, always open to new approaches and ventures, and brings her gorgeous sound to everything she plays... a first-rate cellist who cares deeply about her students and a wonderful collaborator, co-writer, and friend!
