About Sadie
I have played the flute for over 12 years and recently graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Music Education. I combine my experience in flute performance and my studies in pedagogy to create individualized and creative lessons! I emphasize on building foundational flute skills as well as a solid understanding of music theory based on the students’ needs. As I mentioned before, I have my own studio in Stephenville, TX, and I am currently building my studio in the surrounding areas!

I have my own studio here in Stephenville,
Texas, and working with my students is an absolute joy. I often push my
students to their very best with keeping health and mindfulness in
conjunction. While I love teaching, I love performing even more. I have
been in the Tarleton Wind Ensemble for four consecutive years and have
performed in various ensembles such as latin band, chamber ensembles,
orchestras, and pit bands for musical theatre plays. In 2024 I performed with the Tarleton Flute Choir at NFA and TMEA. One of my favorite musical experiences by far is with the orchestra at the Interharmony International Music Festival in 2023. I have studied with Dr. Carolyn Keyes for 3 and a half years. Additionally, I have played in masterclasses with Marianne Gedigian, Terri Sundberg, Laurel Zucker, Julee Kim Walker, Amy Porter, and more. I am excited to share my passion and knowledge with you!
