About Bridget
I have been a student for most of my life, and a tutor for a big chunk of it. I know how difficult it can be to get through a class when you're struggling to understand the material. I nearly dropped out of biology in year 11 when I had a teacher who I was struggling to learn from. He was a lovely man, but his teaching style wasn't effective for me. The next semester I had an incredibly enthusiastic teacher and Biology became one my best and favourite subjects. So much so that I went on to study it at university. I know what it's like to struggle as a student, and I now have 7 years' experience as a tutor.

I believe in self-directed learning. At the beginning of your session, we will discuss what you are struggling with and what you need. We will then work at your pace to develop your understanding of the subject matter. Science doesn't have to be difficult, but it can be hard to break through the jargon to understand the core concepts. I'm here to help.
