About Rachel
Hello! My name is Rachel and I have just graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class degree in Biochemistry (MSci). Throughout my degree I tutored maths, biology, chemistry and physics GCSE and A Level. I have helped dozens of tutees improve their grades and become more confident in their studies.

About my lessons:
Everyone learns in a different way; therefore, my tutoring sessions are tailored to each student. However, most lessons tend to follow a similar structure, with a large focus on exam questions.
When a student begins with me, I ask them to provide a list of topics they feel less confident in. I use this to craft personalised lesson plans and a week-by-week schedule. The session often begins by going through one of the topics requested by my student. I use an approach that incorporates a mix of discussions, lectures, and hands-on exercises, whilst encouraging active participation. Having a good exam technique is essential for GCSEs and A-levels. Therefore, the rest of the lesson is often dedicated to answering exam questions.
