About Bridie
I am 27 years old and from Herefordshire! I spent my childhood playing football and singing and dancing on stage! I still love football and theatre but since completing my degree in English I spend a lot of my time writing and illustrating children’s books. I have worked in the SEN sector over the past 5 years and have a great passion for helping those with additional needs!

I believe in student-led learning, I’m passionate about English literature and language and learning as a whole. I take a holistic approach and have years of experience with mainstream and additional needs students. I have aided children in their grammar school exams successfully, I have taught English in Vietnam, tutored children from India, France, Togo and London. I have a background in the creative arts which lends a hand in my virtual classroom to keep students engaged! I write poetry and prose in my spare time and I also draw and paint. My favourite quote is “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” - Malcolm X
