Showing up on time is one of my most important points to creating a great relationship with the student.
Communication ahead of time to ensure the student understands the lesson plan, and feed back and evaluation. The understanding that the student will go through a lot to learn but that positive reinforcement is important.

First things first I will establish a positive learning environment which is keen to the process in any discipline.
I would then assess the students in their strengths and weaknesses. I would do this through current course work that they’ve been graded on to see what they may need to improve on or what they’ve already excelled in.
I would then set goals from there to see where the student wants to end up at the end of the lessons.
I’d clearly explain concepts using simple language and provide real-life examples or visual aids to enhance understanding. Demonstrate problem-solving techniques and guide students through the steps to reinforce their comprehension.
Most importantly I would learn how the student works and adapt to their learning style.
