About Darion
Apart from earning a BA in Arabic from UCLA, I also completed an immersive Arabic program at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, and have had the opportunity to travel to the Middle East every year since 2016. I’ve made lots of mistakes along the way, and by doing so I’ve learned the intricacies and beauty of the Arabic language so much deeper. While growing up in a Lebanese household, I did not learn Arabic as a child. This serves as a benefit for our lessons together since I know what learning this language from scratch looks like.

Arabic is said to be one of the hardest languages for an English speaker to learn. Traditional learning methods don’t work for everyone. But as someone who has learned it from scratch and applied it countless times in the Middle East, I can help you crack the code to this ancient and beautiful language. Together, we’ll learn how to order food, barter in the Bazaar, and maybe flirt with that special someone. My expertise is in the Levantine (Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian) dialect, and Modern Standard Arabic. Yalla! Let’s get it
