About Alex
For me, maths was never about memorising formulas; it was about discovering a language of patterns and logic. I remember the frustration of feeling stuck, and more importantly, the "lightbulb moment" when a complex concept finally clicked. That moment is what I strive to create for every student. My approach to tutoring is built on patience, empathy, and a belief that everyone can succeed in maths with the right guide. My approach is to give alternative perspectives to view maths problems, differentiating from normal lessons as I believe everyone has their own learning habits. I teach my lessons in 1-hour sessions as I believe beyond this time, concentration quickly deteriorates and loses focus, making the lesson unproductive. I taught at a secondary school and have a large amount of private tutoring hours. I can teach all maths lessons up to and including A-level further mathematics.
