About Mary Theresa
I am a University of London LLB (Hons) 2:1 graduate passionate about helping students succeed in law. My lessons are patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs, with continuous feedback and guidance to build confidence and strong academic performance. My Approach to Tutoring & Teaching Style
I believe law is best learned through clear understanding, structured thinking, and consistent practice. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex legal concepts into simple, digestible explanations before guiding students to apply the law confidently in problem questions and essays. I also share concise notes and model answers after each session.
I use a step-by-step methodology:
1. Explain core legal principles in a clear and concise way
2. Use real exam-style questions to develop application skills
3. Teach structured answer techniques for essays and problem questions
4. Provide personalised feedback to improve writing and legal reasoning
