About Laura
I have been teaching for the last four years, both abroad and in the UK. I love helping students to achieve their goals - whether that is exam related or skill development. I loved English at school and continue to love the subject as an educator and writer. I credit this enjoyment to some inspiring English teachers and wish to evoke that same sense of joy in my own students.

My focus for tutoring is fostering enjoyment as well as progression. As a full time English teacher I have a working knowledge of the British curriculum and exam specifications. These will always underpin my approaches to teaching but with an explicit focus on helping students to find the joy of language, literature and self expression
