About Sara
I adored my own education experience at school and drama school. The individual attention I got, the care and challenges thrown my way have built me into a resilient and empathetic person. In my career as a theatre director, I worked at the Donmar Warehouse for two years as an in house assistant director before leaving for freelance projects at the Old Vic, Globe, Almeida and beyond. I have worked as associate director on three new musicals at The Garrick, The Shaftesbury Theatre, Old Vic, and even on a Broadway transfer which took me to NYC for 3 months! Throughout each show, I have auditioned and cast various roles and worked closely with directors and casting directors. I have deep knowledge about audition and rehearsal practice.

English: I have been teaching English in my own private lessons for ten years. My students have consistently improved one to two letter grades. Each session is tailored to the student's (access) needs with thorough feedback given at every stage. My motto: high challenge, high support. I will push my students to achieve higher than they think whilst supporting them with everything I can! Acting: I'm a professional director - working on the West End for 5 years, trained at BOVTS and the Donmar Warehouse. I have directed at LAMDA, Mountview, ArtsEd. I have extensive knowledge of drama school / professional auditions, using my insider knowledge to help students achieve their dreams.
