Hello! I’m a friendly, supportive English Literature tutor who helps GCSE and A-Level students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve the grades they deserve. I believe literature should feel engaging and accessible—not intimidating—and I love helping students discover their own voices in their essays and interpretations.

I specialise in breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable explanations, making it easier for students to understand themes, context, and literary techniques. My lessons focus on developing strong analytical writing skills, exam-ready strategies, and a genuine appreciation for the texts.
Because every student learns differently, I take a personalised approach. Whether a student needs help with essay structure, building arguments, understanding difficult texts, or simply boosting confidence, I tailor each session to their needs and goals. I guide students in thinking independently, forming their own interpretations, and writing with clarity and purpose—exactly what examiners reward.
Above all, I aim to create a calm, encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and growing academically. Watching students gain confidence and begin to enjoy literature is one of my favourite parts of tutoring.
