About Sogol
I grew up in the UK, where I completed my GCSEs, A-levels and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts before qualifying as a medical doctor. English has been the main language of my studies, work and daily life, and I hold an Academic IELTS score of 8.5. I’ve worked as an NHS interpreter, helping patients and doctors communicate clearly in real clinical settings. That experience, plus my interest in psychology and communication, has taught me to listen carefully, explain things simply and create a calm, supportive atmosphere. As your tutor, you can expect organized lessons, clear goals and honest, encouraging feedback. My aim is to help you feel understood, build real confidence in your English and make steady, meaningful progress toward your personal or academic goals.

I’m a medical doctor with an Academic IELTS score of 8.5, and I’ve used English every day in study, work and real life. In our lessons we’ll focus on what you actually need: speaking with confidence, writing clearly, or getting the score you want in IELTS or other exams. At the same time, we’ll explore the culture behind the language: humor, everyday expressions, movies, music and real conversations, so you don’t just “know English”, you start to feel like you belong in English-speaking spaces too. Learning a language can drastically increase your quality of life: it gives you more opportunities, new friends, deeper connections and a bigger world to move in. We’ll keep things calm, friendly and practical; no judgment, just steady progress, honest feedback and simple strategies you can use straight away. If you’re ready to feel more confident, connected and “at home” in English, I’d be happy to help you get there.
