About Brodie
Over the course of my career as a guitarist, I’ve received an Associate of Art’s degree and two certifications related to guitar, I’ve had multiple releases as an artist in my own right and have played more shows both within and outside the LA area than I would be able to count. Through all of this, I’ve learned that the best approach to understanding the wonderful instrument that is a guitar, is a strong mixture of patience and consistency. Learning to play is not always a quick endeavor, but from my personal experience, it is always a worthy endeavor.

First things first, thank you for taking the time to read my ad, I can’t express how much it means! Admittedly, I’m new to the role of tutor, but with that being said, I’ve been a student of private lessons and collegiate level guitar curriculum for many years. I feel more than confident in being able to pass on what I’ve learned and hopefully help someone discover a skill that will bring them joy and a sense of achievement for the rest of their lives!
I have plenty of experience of how difficult and frustrating learning to play the guitar can be, but after 12 years of playing I also know how rewarding that effort is. I plan to constantly try to show my students new material to push themselves, whether that be a new exercise to expand my students capabilities when playing or lessons in music theory to help with understanding the complexities that make up the music that we love!
